Before we talk about SEO Strategies, let have a look at some facts:

  • Search is the #1 driver of traffic to content sites, beating social media by more than 300%
  • 93% of all online experiences begin with a search engine such as Google or Bing
  • 70-80% of users ignore paid search advertising and click on organic search results
  • 30% of all clicks in organic search results in Google go to the top three results
  • 72% of all people who performed a local search ended up visiting a store that was within five miles of them

based on above statics, we need to have a strategy that meet the users’s data or behaviour. Basically, we need to create a quality content that highlight the keywords that the search engine is trying to crawling and users might search on.

SEO strategies

The common strategies:

  • keyword research
  • link building
  • sitemap optimiztion
  • software development( will effect the speed and structure)
  • web design ( will effect the user’s bounce rate)
  • feed back
  • social networks
  • content
  • traffic monitoring
  • ranking
  • site optimations

these strategies need to be done in cycle and requires constantly improvement. Like in based on the data you monitored, you need to carry some A/B testing and try to approve any of your hypophysis. If it worked, then you need to implemented onto your site, so that it will tracks more users.

One thing is Social Media. Althought a lot of agencies are saying social media is NOT the important to normal search engines. However, from what we monitored, the quality of those lead from social media are much higher than normal search engines. Like a user from social media is more than likely to become a buyer than the ones that from search engine.

So strategies does matters and needs to be changed on regular basics. Do you have a SEO strategy? or do you want to set and forget? Talk to us now

Actually, Google compares your site to your competitors on a specific segment and attributes a bonus point whether you are the fastest. But be careful, that marks is not given unilaterally : it takes in account the country, device or network.

So, the answer is: as part of the SEO, you are actually competing with others on the market. If your website is slow, then you will be a lower position then they are. and that will affect your SEO.

page speed on mobile

You can evaluate your page speed with Google’s PageSpeed Insights. PageSpeed Insights Speed Score incorporates data from CrUX (Chrome User Experience Report) and reports on two important speed metrics: First Contentful Paint (FCP) and DOMContentLoaded (DCL).

Google ads for the keywords are generally more expensive, as it’s trying to gather more attention to general public. While Facebook on the other hand, it’s trying to target certain people, based on their behaviour and backgrounds. here is the list of the details to compare both of them:

In Summary, we usually make the SEO road map along with our clients, based on their business, then we will try to make the most effecient way. For example, if your business is trying to sell computers online to end user, then google ads may not be so efficient, as there are so many website is competing with you on Google. If you put it on facebook, to certain group of users, like Melbourne city Gamers, then Facebook is cheaper to start and will give you much better results.

However, unlike what we mentioned in topic #1, after you see all the visitor got onto your website, and still not doing what you want them to do, like  CLICK ON THE PURCHAE BUTTON.

At this moment, some of the owners start to think all the time, efforts and even money wasted!

Like: your sales button is NOT showing at the right place? users need to read carefully to know what to do? or a long instruction? etc etc. now, you need another set of strategies to help you get the users to do what you want to do, and its called

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

OK, let’s be absolutely clear about this: CRO ONLY will apply to the users who can to your page, NOT trying to get more users onto your page! CRO is more analytic! it will requires you to think like the visitors of your page, it’s all about how to covert visitors to buyers/clients.

it contains 4 steps:
 – Gathering the visitors data:  This basically will give you a base point of where these visitors are coming from? like social media? websites? or search engine. And what the behaviours on after they come to your site.
 – Make assumptions:  based on the data we gathered, then we make a few assumptions that we might get a sales on.
 – Test your assumptions: Typically, we can run A/B testing. A/B testing should run for several days, sometimes longer depending on the amount of traffic your site currently receives. How do you know when you’ve found a winner? It’s simple — the tested item with the higher conversion rate wins!
 – Repeat the above steps: After you’ve identified and implemented your new data-backed conversion strategy, it’s tempting to sit back and just enjoy the ride. But the internet is changing every day, and so are your visitors. Just like SEO, CRO is a long-term commitment.

In the end, SEO will pretty much bring you visitors, but CRO will convert your visitors into buyer/clients, which will generate more income.  A strong SEO strategy can do wonders for enhancing the findability of your site and increasing traffic, but it isn’t always enough. You need a CRO strategy to seal the deal.

From the last blog article, we mentioned the difference between on-page SEO and off-page SEO. Today, we can have a deep look at on page SEO, as it’s major part that requires quite a bit work.

As we already know, the following key points are what we need to focus:

 – keywords:  the old fasion of the searching keywords.
 – Meta description:  in summary, it’s the description of your page.
 – Alt text:  the descriptive text for your images and videos etc.
 – Title Tag:  the heading text that appears in your browser tab.
 – URL Structure:  the way of organising the url (web address) of your page
 – Internal Linking: this is very important, but many people ignored. it’s a *guide* for google’s crawler to get the linked content on your website. It will also keep the visitor to stay on your website longer.
 – Page Performance:  the load speed of your website.

but which one do we need to do more in order into get a higher page ranking? which means how importan your website is amoung all other websites. Mathematical PageRanks for a simple network are expressed as percentages. (Google uses a logarithmic scale.)

An ideal web page should do all of the following:

  • Be hyper-relevant to a specific topic (usually a product or single object)
    • Include subject in title tag
    • Include subject in URL
    • Include subject in image alt text
    • Specify subject several times throughout text content
  • Provide unique content about a given subject
  • Link back to its category page
  • Link back to its subcategory page (If applicable)
  • Link back to its homepage (normally accomplished with an image link showing the website logo on the top left of a page)
